Killaghy Publishing was established by Des Tobin in 2003.

Des w as educated by the De La Salle and Christian Brothers and after working as a youth worker in Queensland for two years he entered the family business of Tobin Brothers funerals in 1961.  He was Managing Director from 1982 until his retirement in 1998.  He has consulted with many family businesses in respect to succession planning and other family business issues.

Des and his wife Margaret have 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren and live on the Mornington Peninsula.
